Philadelphia’s Family-Owned HVAC Contractor Since 2001

When you call Cold 1 Services, you aren’t just hiring a company; you’re hiring owner Teddy Peters’s two decades of expertise. Teddy didn’t just learn the HVAC trade—he lived it, mastering every bolt and blower motor with his own two hands. While other owners might manage from behind a desk, Teddy is still right there in the field, tools in hand, ensuring that every installation and repair meets his uncompromising standards for quality and personal care.

Starting as a refrigeration specialist, Cold 1 Services expanded into a full-scope HVAC contractor serving residential and commercial clients across the region. Our standard is straightforward: the specialist who evaluates your project and provides your estimate takes complete ownership of the job, delivering dedicated, professional care for every residential heating unit or commercial cooling system.

Our Heating, Cooling, and Refrigeration Services

We know Philadelphia’s unique housing stock inside and out. Whether it’s navigating tight rowhouse stairwells, working with old stone and plaster, or inspecting aging chimneys, we design our systems to fit your home’s specific layout—not just the specs. We don’t guess. From commercial refrigeration in cramped cellars to solving Philly’s sticky summer humidity, we take precise measurements to ensure your equipment fits, performs, and lasts. Because a unit that’s poorly sized or placed is just a headache waiting to happen.

Cold 1 Services is a licensed HVAC contractor Pennsylvania homeowners, landlords, and managers can verify, and our insurance is current. Ask for the certificate before work starts, and you will have it.

Parts remain covered by manufacturer warranties, while our team guarantees the quality of our labor. As your fully licensed and insured Philadelphia, PA, HVAC contractor, we operate with complete transparency—every charge, airflow measurement, and combustion detail is clearly documented on your invoice.
